ATTENDANCE AND COVER MANAGER
40 weeks (term time including 5 training days, plus 1 week)
Grade G: FTE £21,589 – £23,836 (pro-rata)
Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 3:30pm (7.5 hours per day, 30 minutes lunch break)
Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm (7 hours, 30 minutes lunch break)

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and experienced Attendance Manager.
Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. The successful candidate will lead by example and assist the Deputy Head to improve school attendance through the effective working with students, staff, families, pastoral support teams and other agencies, analysing data to guide interventions and evaluating their impact.
The role will support school and parents in promoting good attendance and provide an effective response to pupils whom have difficulties in attending school. The post holder will meet with parents, pupils and members of staff to identify concerns and agree the action to be undertaken.
The role will also involve arranging cover for absent teaching staff, for both daily and long term requirements. The post holder will monitor and report on whole staff absence, and support the Senior Assistant Principal in staff absence management procedures.

Applicants must have experience of working with children, young people and families in an education, social work or police environment.
Applicants must have:
- Several years’ experience working in a relevant discipline in a learning environment
- Experience of working with children of relevant age
