Year 9 Options
Star 14 courses are during the day (Friday next year) and mean that you will miss a day of school. The actual subjects that you will miss will not be known until the timetable is completed (around June) by which time you will have signed up for one of these courses so make sure you think very carefully about it. The cost of the courses is met fully by the school. Transport costs are also sorted by the school usually in the form of a bus pass.
Xtend are extra GCSE courses happening after school and therefore mean that you don’t miss any lessons during your normal day. We ask for a contribution of £150 and the school matches this cover costs.

The final decision with any course rests with the school and the College.
