Sixth Form
What can Trinity Sixth Form offer?
On one level, Trinity sixth form offers an impressive range of AS and A Level subjects alongside `high order' teaching. On another more fundamental level, we place a lot of emphasis on high quality working relationships between students and staff because we believe that this encourages our students to be independent thinkers and effective learners who take responsibility for their own learning. It also enables them to develop the many interpersonal skills they will need for adult life.
We are very conscious that many of our students will be our leaders of tomorrow. We see it as our duty, therefore, to nurtuer them in the skills and talents they will need to succeed. This is the outstanding feature of life at Trinity and one of the most important things we have to offer our students.
Our aim is to ensure that our students become effective life-long learners by acquiring the necessary skills and qualities they will need to become independent learners.

Experience gained through our enrichment programme is designed to enable you to develop the necessary range of skills and knowledge to prepare you for life after the sixth form.
The enrichment curriculum includes the following:
Critical Thinking:
All students study this course which is concerned mainly with the credibility of evidence. As such it is excellent preparation for the new tests being introduced by many universities as well as enabling you to become a discerning individual. A large proportion of our students choose to sit an AS in this subject in Year 12.
Community Service:
See section 'Sixth Form Life' for reference to the many activities undertaken by our students. There is the option to have community service accredited by Millennium Volunteers.
Personal, Social and Health Education:
This includes preparation for independent living, university and employment.
Sporting Activities:
These include an opportunity to partake in a range of sports as well as a ski trip abroad.
Work Experience
All of our students have a one week work experience placement following the May/June AS exams in year 12. Those studying languages have additional work experience abroad.
