Announcement 9 June 2021

Our Head of School Mr Shires, will be leaving Trinity Catholic School this week to begin his new role as Headteacher of St Benedict's Catholic High School, Alcester. Mr Shires has been a highly committed member of the Trinity family since 2007, where he has held the role of Head of Sixth Form, Deputy Headteacher and more recently Head of School. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his significant contribution to Trinity and to wish him the very best in his new role. This is an exciting time for Trinity Catholic School as we have been selected by the Multi-Academy to become a centre of excellence for school improvement. As a result of this we are currently in the process of recruiting for a Headteacher, who will also be an Assistant Director of School Improvement. This individual will have a pivotal role in creating and developing teaching, learning and behaviour hubs at Trinity. Whilst we work through this process, our Senior Leadership team will continue to work alongside Mr O'Connor, Executive Headteacher of Trinity and Saint Augustine's in Redditch. Mr O'Connor has been working closely with Trinity since January and he will continue to support staff and students throughout the summer term.
