Dear Parents of GCSE year 10 drama

Our theatre trip to Oxford Playhouse was a great success and all students really enjoyed the production. I was very proud of how interested all our students were in the play and how well they were behaved.

I have booked for us to go and see a play produced by the National Theatre called “The Barber shop chronicles” on October 10th next academic year. This will be a very different production and a fantastic opportunity to develop our understanding of theatre and to evaluate the work of others, which is a necessary part of the written exam in May next year.  We will be leaving after school as this is an evening performance. I shall confirm times later but it will be leaving school just before 5 and hopefully back by 11:15 pm.

This trip will be going on parent pay by the end of the week and I would ask that conformation and payment is made by July 1st please. If there are any issues with finance please do get in touch

Please could you go onto parent pay and click the consent and pay £24 for this trip. Students may change out of uniform after school and bring money for an ice cream/ drink at the interval.

Many thanks

Sarah Compton
